If you crush it in Prep and want to keep learning (and we hope you do), here's some resources to further your awesomeness:

1. Kahn Academy: Khan Academy includes a number of tracts to keep you learning. Here are the main tracts:

2. Free Code Camp: As mentioned, sections 1 though 7 of Free Code Camp will give you mucho experience. Go on to complete sections 10 through 22. Crush it by finishing all the Waypoints, Ziplines, Bonfires and Basejump projects! These exercises cover a wide range of real-life software creation. We have Many of our students that do well in Operation Spark completed sections 1 through 9 of Free Code Camp. If you're serious about learning, you'll have no problem completing sections 1 through 9. Take the time over a semester to rock it out. Here's the breakdown:

   1. (10 minutes) Get Started with Free Code Camp
   2. (5 hours) HTML5 and CSS
   3. (5 hours) Responsive Design with Bootstrap
   4. (20 minutes) Gear Up for Success
   5. (3 hours) jQuery
   6. (5 hours) Basic JavaScript
   7. (2 hours) Object Oriented and Functional Programming Total coding and instructional time: 20 hours and 30 minutes.
3. CoderBytes: This resource is perfect for practicing for coding interviews. The CoderBytes challenges are perfect for killing time before your date!
4. Code Wars: Once you're feeling like you could hack Facebook, try battling it out on Code Wars!
5. JavaScript, the Weird Parts: This video is a great deep dive into the crazy world of JavaScript. Grab some popcorn and nerd out!

6. A Smarter Way to Learn JavaScript Read and complete all exercises in A Smarter Way to Learn JavaScript!

   This is a great introductory book focusing on the fundamentals of JavaScript. The book breaks down into sections the basics of JavaScript. And for each topic, there's accompanying online coding exercises.

   Read for 10 minutes, code for 10 minutes, take a break! It's a smarter way to learn JavaScript!

   All Operation Spark students have free access to the book and coding exercises. Please ask your teacher for the password to the online pdf.
